Take a few minutes today to read Matthew 2:1-23.
For Reflection:
- The birth of Jesus, God’s Son, brought out Satan’s fury. The devil used an evil king for evil purposes in an attempt to destroy God’s plan.
- What method did God use to speak to the Magi and to Joseph?
- Have you ever heard from the Lord? If so, how did you hear Him speak to you?
Prayer Starters:
P – Praise: Lord, you are sovereign. Your plans can never be destroyed. You endure forever and are faithful to Your people.
R – Repent : Forgive me for not being attentive to your voice and following the paths of evil.
A – Ask: Please speak to me this week, and help me know and hear Your voice.
Y – Yield: I am listening. Lead me and I will follow.
