Today’s passage is 2 Corinthians 2:12-17. Join us in reading it.
Paul was stinky. To some, that stink was an awful smell, to others, it was a sweet fragrance. Paul had been telling the Corinthians all about how he had gone from place to place preaching the Gospel. Some accepted Christ and others rejected Him. Paul was even placed into a situation just before he wrote this letter where he felt he was surely going to die (2 Cor 1:8-9). He really stank up the place. But he continued to preach because God had “made us His captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession” (2 Cor 2:14).
