A true leader gives, a false leader grabs. Paul likens his relationship to the Corinthians as parent to child. Good parents work their tails off to provide for their children as they grow up and become adults. This is done not to get anything from their children. They do it because of love. They do it even when their children scream at them saying, “I hate you!”
