Pleasures are Meaningless: Ecclesiastes 2:1-11

The picture that the Teacher is drawing for us in Ecclesiastes is a negative one in the sense that he is pointing to what is meaningless and a chasing after the wind and cutting that away rather than pointing to the positive. When he is done, it will be your job to discover what is left on his canvas. Many people have read Ecclesiastes and come to the conclusion that all truly is hopeless and you do not have to read very far into the book to understand why.
