God’s Assistance: The Canaanite Woman - Matthew 15:21-28
Jesus has withdrawn from Israel proper and has headed north into the region of Tyre and Sidon. He has just heard that John the Baptist has been executed and was looking for a break from the crowds, Pharisees and general demands of being Messiah in order to be alone with His disciples. So He has left Israel and gone into the non-Jewish regions to the north of Galilee in order to find some peace and quiet.
