We read a story of Jesus commanding the wind and the waves and they obey and we nod, saying to ourselves, “Yes, Jesus should be able to do that.” We believe that Jesus is God. We believe that Jesus has those kind of powers. We believe a lot about Jesus.
To kick off this new teaching series, Jeff Baker explains that God is in control. Even when things in life seem out-of-control, God has it all in hand. No matter what storm you’re going through, you can put your faith in God.

Jesus had a long day of teaching. Many people had also come to him for healing and restoring. He was tired and needed some restoration of his own. Crossing to the other side of the Lake of Gennesaret, also known as the Sea of Galilee, would give him time to rest.
Believe It or Not! The Ripley’s tag line hits the nail right on the head. Here is the event, whether you believe in the truth of the event or not is up to you. You can accept or reject based on the evidence presented. It is in this accepting or rejecting, this ‘believing it or not’, that the real issue of the miraculous lay.
