4 Perspectives for 4 Days: Two Millennia Later
Matthew 17:14-21; Mark 9:14-29; Luke 9:37-43
We look back at Jesus healing this boy from our 21st century perspective and there is a lot that we can choose to believe or not to believe. The fundamental ‘believe it or not’ for us two thousand years after the fact, lies with the boy and his condition. What was really wrong with him? Is this just another case of the ancients not having the correct and proper modern, scientific perspective or is it what Jesus saw it to be, a innocent boy possessed by a demon, essentially evil personified?
