“Follow Me!” Jesus’ call is for life and life with a purpose. Mark 1:17 quotes Jesus saying, “Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” It is significant that in the previous verse, Mark records that the call was to two men whose occupation was that of fishermen. Jesus’ call to them was a call to a new occupation, a total new way of life.
“Follow Me!” Jesus’ call does have a cost.
“Follow Me!” Some answer that call that causes others to cringe.
“Follow Me!” Sometimes we have to hear that command multiple times before we finally will follow Jesus with a whole heart.

“Follow Me.” Two words Jesus spoke many times and men followed. Why? Let us look at some passages over the next few days and ask that question and more. Let us examine why we follow Jesus as we ask these questions.
