Wednesdays Are Just the Start

Flatland YTH is a year-round community. While Wednesday nights are our anchor for worship and small groups, the transformation doesn’t stop there. Throughout the year, we host special events, crazy game nights, summer camps, and fall retreats designed to pull students out of their everyday routines, deepen their friendships, and solidify their faith.

Wednesday Night

Our standard Wednesday night group includes a mix of high-energy hangouts, powerful worship, a relevant Bible based message, and—most importantly—small groups. Small groups are divided by grade and gender so students can talk through life and faith with peers and trusted leaders.

Blitz Nights

We look for any excuse to throw a massive party, because we believe the best friendships start with shared memories. Blitz Nights—our highest-energy events designed for maximum fun and absolutely zero pressure. They are the perfect nights for students to invite friends who have never stepped foot in a youth group.

$10 Tuesday

Calling all upcoming and current middle school students! These summer events are designed just for you. Every Tuesday, we’re heading out for a new adventure—from bowling and Nerf battles to giant slip-n-slides and food runs. It’s the perfect way to hang out, make friends, and beat the summer boredom.

Summer Nights

When school lets out, the fun doesn't stop. Summer Nights are our themed Wednesday events throughout June and July—featuring water kickball, movie nights, and more. It’s the perfect, low-pressure environment for students to stay connected, invite friends, and hang out all summer long.

Summer Camp

Camp is the ultimate getaway for students to unplug from the daily grind and dial into what matters most. Spread across an entire week in Lexington, camp combines high-energy team competitions with powerful worship and life-changing messages. It’s a dedicated season for students to grow deeper in their faith and build unbreakable bonds.

District Events

Throughout the year, we team up with the Assemblies of God for massive regional and national experiences—like Called Conference, National YTH Conference and Fine Arts. These trips help students discover their God-given gifts, deepen their faith, and connect with thousands of students nationwide.

Have Questions?

The Details.

We get it—sending your teenager to a youth group can come with a lot of questions, whether you're a parent trying to coordinate schedules or a student wondering what to expect. We want to make your first visit as smooth as possible. Here is a breakdown of the things we get asked most often.

Still have Questions?

  • What time does Flatland YTH start and end?

We gather every Wednesday night. Doors open at 6:30 PM for students to hang out, play games, and grab snacks. Our service starts at 7:00 PM and everything wraps up by 8:30 PM.

If we are having a special night where our location or hours will be changed, we will post it on our Facebook and Instagram so follow us to stay up to date!

  • Where exactly do we go when we arrive?

You’ll head to the main Flatland Church campus at 4801 N 144th St. You can drive around to the north side of the building and head in the doors for the North Auditorium. Once you get there one of our awesome team members will show you everything you need to know!

  • What does a typical Wednesday night look like?

Our standard Wednesday night group includes a mix of high-energy hangouts, powerful worship, a relevant Bible based message, and -- most importantly -- small groups. Small groups are divided by grade and gender so students can talk through life and faith with peers and trusted leaders.

  • Is there a cost to attend Flatland YTH?

Wednesday nights are completely free! We will have our snack shack if they want to buy snacks for $1 (venmo accepted), and certain special events (like Summer Camp or Fall Retreat) will have a registration fee, but regular youth nights cost nothing.

  • How do Blitz Nights differ from normal Wednesdays?

Normal Wednesdays are anchored in our routine of worship, teaching, and small groups. Blitz Nights happen a few times a year and are 100% focused on massive, high-energy parties (like Smash Blitz or Water Blitz). They are designed specifically to be the easiest nights for students to invite friends who have never been to church before.

  • How can parents stay updated on events and calendar changes?

We love keeping parents in the loop! The best ways to stay up to date are by checking the calendar right here on our website, following us on Instagram or facebook @FlatlandYTH, or signing up for our email newsletter by clicking the link below!

  • Who are the adults leading my students?

Safety and mentorship are huge priorities for us. Every single volunteer leader at Flatland YTH goes through an interview process, a thorough background check, and consistent leadership training before they ever step into a room with our students.
